Start

I have been doing few things other than studying these past days. What I have been doing, though, are things that I love. Things like taking walks in the forest and tying up roses (so they may air dry).

I cannot even begin to describe how much I love autumn weather. It's fantastic when the air (and leaves) is crisp, refreshing and yet kind of warm at the same time. The leaves that turn from green, to a dull moss-green and then to turn into a dozen of vivid hues of yellow and orange. It touches my heart in a special way, a way that reminds me of the "hyggelige" days to come. "Hygge" is exactly what I think of, when I think of autumn. The closest translation for this word would be cozy, but it's so much more than that. It's the way people have rosy cheeks, they way we smile at a complete stranger, the way you can spend an entire day watching things that you won't remember the following day with your closest companions. To me, autumn is synonymous with "hygge".

Roses
I have had very little time recently for anything than studying, so one evening I noticed my flowers were starting to wilt and I decided to tie them up with strings, so they could dry. I'm not sure what I will do with them afterwards.

Shirt H&M
I've almost completed my list of "items to have, for the essential wardrobe" and a dark checkered shirt was on that list. I saw this one in H&M, so of course it was a bargain. More on the essential wardrobe later, though.

For now, I will wish you a good day and thank you for reading my blog - I really appreciate it!
